Funeral services for Charles Ray Wright, 84, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 pm Tuesday before the service.
Mr. Wright passed away January 28th at Silsbee Oaks Health Care.
Charles was a native of Canton and a longtime Silsbee resident. He was a retired Maintenance planner with Temple Inland.
He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Gordie Miller Gilchrist Wright; wife and mother of his sons Jeanette Wright; wife Lurline Wright; brother Lloyd Wright and sister Sandra Jean Parrott.
Survivors include sons Clifton Wright and wife Nina of Silsbee, Don Wright and wife Becky of The Woodlands and Bill Wright and wife Kay of Silsbee; brothers Derrell Wright and wife Shirley of Cut'n Shoot and W. D. Wright and wife Janice of Lufkin; sister Faye Wilcox of Hudson; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Wright’s memory to the Houston Area Parkinson’s Society (HAPS), 1475 W Gray St, Ste 174, Houston TX 77019 or Trinity Baptist Church, General Fund, 880 Gentry Rd, Silsbee TX 77656.
