Funeral services for James Franklin “Butch” Fisher, 73, of Silsbee will be 3:00 pm Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at RS Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Butch passed away February 1, 2017 in Silsbee.

Mr. Fisher was born March 10, 1943 in Beaumont and was a longtime resident of Silsbee. He worked as a mechanic for many years.

Butch is preceded in death by his father Howell Rayburn Fisher.

Survivors include mother Marjorie Joyce of Lumberton; wife Marilyn Fisher of Silsbee; son James Franklin Fisher Jr. and wife Pam of Silsbee; daughters Nesha Gaye Hooks and husband Nathan of Hillister, and Currie Lee Donan of Silsbee; brothers Rusty Fisher of Lumberton; eight grandchildren Colby, Chelsea, Taylor, Brady, Aubrey, Autumn, Allana, and Abbeygail; and two great grandchildren Kenslee, and Connor.

Butch will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Butch's passing. Please know that the family are in my prayers. I worked with Bitch in Cameron. What an awesome man and great friend. May he rest in peace.

Butch was a decent, kind-hearted man, a genius with automobiles, and a good friend. The world needs more like him. He will be missed.

Dearest Fisher Family, What a shock to learn of Butch's passing. What memories we all have of our days at Good Shepherd Baptist Church. I will always remember Butch as laughing & his kindness. My prayers are with you. Butch was a good man & will be missed by many.
