Funeral services for Florene Hazel Jannise, 86, of Kountze will be 2:00 pm Friday, February 17 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Hooks Cemetery in Kountze. Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jannise passed away February 12, 2017 at Pine Arbor Health Care in Silsbee.
Florene was a native of Lumberton and a longtime resident of Hardin County. She was Cafeteria Supervisor with Lumberton ISD.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ike and Eva Powers Hampshire; daughter Vanoy Ling; brothers Raymond Hampshire, J. C. Carrey and Leslie Hampshire; sisters Elsie Oliver, Althie Choates, Barbara Janese, and Lillie Brown.
Survivors include husband Clyde Jannise of Kountze; son Daniel Ling of Silsbee; daughter Alice Quigley of Escondido CA; step-children Gerald Jannise of Silsbee, Mickey Jannise of Kountze, Davis Jannise of Call, Gary Jannise of Escondido, CA, Mary Walters of China and Sharon Hoadley of Alvin; brother Rayburn Hampshire of Jasper; sisters Margie Gardener of Lumberton and Juanita Sanders of Zavalla; thirty-four grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Jannise will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
