Alma G. Maynard, 65, of South Point, Ohio passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Ky. She was born January 30, 1952 in Lawrence County, Ohio daughter of the late William and Irene Maynard. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Clara and Steve Burton; grandson Charles K. Wilson and Shannon; granddaughter Courtney N. Bowling and Robert; great grandson Blake Wilson; great granddaughters Baylee Wilson and Danielle Beth Bowling; four brothers William Maynard, Charles “Sparky” Maynard and Connie, John Maynard and Joann, Frank Maynard and Melissa; three sisters Emma Sharp and Tom, Loretta Litton and Ed, and Mary J. Salyer; many nieces and nephews; and many other family members that she loved and cared for. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Souls Harbor Church, 1323 South 4th Street, Ironton, Ohio. Burial will follow in Haverhill Cemetery, Haverhill, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers will be Charles Wilson, Robert Bowling, Casey Roach, Jason Nance, John Burns, James Litton and Josh Maynard.
