1943 - 2017
Lawrence “Larry” Browning of Huntington, went to his heavenly home on February 15, 2017. He passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 30, 1943 in Logan County, West Virginia to Clifford Edward and Pauline (Steele) Browning. He was known to be a hard working man with few extracurricular activities. He loved working and providing for his family. He retired but continued working for U.S. Equipment until his illness. He is survived by his wife, Frances Gay (Dillow) Browning, two daughters, Regina Dawn (Mark) Sacre and Tamara Alene Browning, three grandsons who were the light and loves of his life: Ethan, Logan and Nathan Sacre, two sisters, Cliffaleen (Don) Burge and Patricia (Trish) Martin and one special brother-in-law, Thurmon Dillow. He was preceded in death by his parents and only brother, Wallace (Clem) Browning. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Tracy Call. Interment will be private in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, West Virginia. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville.
