Eva R. Day, 92, of Proctorville, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Sunday February 19, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. She was born April 14, 1924 in Chesapeake, Ohio to the late Cecil and Beatrice Pinkerman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Elvin F. Day; infant daughter Linda L. Day; two great grandsons Bradley and Seth; two brothers Cecil “Junior” and Charles Pinkerman; and three sisters Hazel Galloway, Ruth Chapman, and Rebecca Moore. She is survived by one son Thomas E. (Margaret) Day. She was “Granny” to her grandchildren Jeffrey A. (Kim) Day and Kellie A. (Tony) Fuller and her great grandchildren Brianna and Morgan, who were the light of her life. She was blessed with three caregivers and Hospice of Huntington to which we are ever so grateful. She was a member of Defender United Methodist Church in Chesapeake, Ohio. Funeral service will be conducted 11 A.M. Tuesday February 21, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Bill Flannery.
