1932 - 2017
William “Bill” King, 84, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 at home. He was born November 22, 1932 in Charleston, WV son of the late Edgar Leroy and Evelyn Julia Setser King. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Bell King; a son David Randolph King; and three brothers Eddie Ray King, Sam King and Wayne King. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Proctorville. He was a retired engineer from CSX and a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by one daughter Becky (Andy) Smarr of Huntington, WV; two granddaughters Kristen Keown and Nicole Keown both of Huntington, WV; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and special sister-in-law Kay King. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Duane Smith. Entombment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Becky,so sorry for the loss of your dad. I have to take my aunt to the Dr.on Tuesday and will not be able to attend the service,but will have you and your girls in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure your parents are having a party.

Bill and Carolyn were great friends and neighbors to us. Becky and Grandaughters, we are sorry for your loss, but know they are in a much better place. We will always miss them.
