1926 - 2017
James Marshall Sonny Stark, 90, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at home. He was born May 3, 1926. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Juanita; his sister Maryanna Flint of Jacksonville, FL; and his grandson Evan Neal. He lived 85 years in the home of his birth in Huntington. He is survived by Randall Stark and his wife, Jackie, of Zeeland, MI, Mark Stark and his wife Linda, Laura, and her husband Ermel, all of Chesapeake, and Robin Neal of Huntington. He had six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Sonny was a warm loving father and devoted Christian man, who loved his God Jehovah. His love was returned by the care he received from his children in his old age. He lived with Mark and Linda for three years and with Laura and Ermel the last two years until his death. Everyone kept him well supplied in his favorite foods, Pepsi and chocolate. He was an example of faithfulness and loyalty as he served as an elder in the Huntington Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. His hope of living forever with family and friends in the paradise earth, burned bright in his heart throughout his life. Revelation 21:3-4. An encouraging Bible talk will be given Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 150, Wood Lane, Huntington, WV 25701 with Denver Majher officiating. Please join us in remembering Sonny’s life and his hope for the future. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements.
