Funeral services for Marvin Gypson Waller, 77, of Kountze will be 10:00 am Wednesday March 8, 2017 at First Pentecostal Church in Silsbee with internment to follow at New Hope Cemetery in Center. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Tuesday at the church.
Mr. Waller passed away Sunday March 5, 2017 at Silsbee Convalescence.
He was a native of Center and a longtime resident of Kountze. Marvin had worked construction as a carpenter.
He is preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Melinda Whiteside Waller; son David Gypson Waller; daughter Debbie Duplissey; and brother Lee Waller.
Survivors include Wife Georgie Hooper Waller of Kountze; sons Mark Waller and wife Sarah of Kountze and Micah Waller and wife Erin of Silsbee; son-in-law Charlie Duplissey of Silsbee; daughters Janice Gibson and husband James of Kountze, and Lori Bonds and husband David of Orangefield; brothers James Arthur Waller of Center and Larry Wayne Waller of China; sisters Lena Barrow of Deweyville and Marcelle Jackson of Center; grandchildren Alex, Kaylee Grace, Kaily Ann, Baily, Emilee, Elizabeth, Dewayne, Amanda, Joshua, Sarah, Logan, Dalton, Allie and Avery; great grandchildren Kolton, Lane, Levi, Jolee, Jaycee, Kade, Danielle, Jacob, Izabella, Elliauna, Kailan, and Kylan.
Mr. Waller will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
