Margaret Elsie Smith Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1939 - 2017 Funeral services for Margaret Elsie Foster Smith, 77, of Silsbee will be 10 am Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Jesus Christ Church of Latter Day Saints under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. Interment will follow in R S Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 pm Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith passed away March 7, 2017 at her residence. Margaret was born in Port Arthur August 22, 1939 to Albert Monroe and Mary Ethel Bailey Foster. She taught for Silsbee ISD for many years before retiring. Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents; husband Fred Allen Smith, daughter Celia Ann Smith, and brothers Albert Monroe Foster, Malcolm Foster and Donald Foster. Survivors include her sons Donald Smith and wife Anna L of Silsbee, Daniel A Smith and wife Aliana of Angiers NC and David A Smith and wife Katryn of Kountze; fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mrs. Smith was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
