Martha Gayle Daniels Schluep, 71, of Huntington, WV passed from this world into the next on March 9, 2017 at home. She was born October 24, 1945 in Huntington, WV. Martha was preceded in death by her mother and father Maxine and Stanley Daniels; one brother Thomas Daniels; grandmother and grandfather Alice and Thomas Daniels; grandmother and grandfather Mr. and Mrs. Peter N. Gardner; and a host of aunts and uncles. She is survived by nephews Danny Lawrence, Tracy, Richard, Patrick and Jimmy, Jr Daniels; nieces Diana (Mark) Close, Pam Hudson, Alicia Lawrence; great nieces and nephews Tiffany, Michael and Kristy Hudson, Scot, Marissa and Jimmy Close, and Zachery Lawrence; brothers Donald Daniels, Jimmy (Patty) Daniels, David Daniels and Larry Daniels; sister Patricia Baxter; and a host of grandchildren and cousins; Danny and Lawrence Kil’c, Kenny and Pamela Spry, Mike and Alicia Ludick; and special friend Rick. Martha loved children and animals always adopted cats. She worked at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio for years. She moved back to Huntington in 2009 after retiring. She was loved and will be missed by her family and friends. May she rest in peace. Private family services and burial will be held at Crown City Cemetery, Crown City, Ohio.
