Funeral services for Earl Ray Gillentine, 71, of Evadale, will be 2:00 pm Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Farmer Funeral Home with a private committal for family only following. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm Sunday until time of service.
Mr. Gillentine passed away March 16, 2017 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.
A native of Marshall, Earl was a life long resident of Evadale. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, worked for Air Comfort and proudly served his country in the US Army.
Mr. Gillentine is preceded in death by his parents William and Tommie Crone Gillentine; his wife Janet Gillentine and brother Bobby Gillentine.
He is survived by sons Aaron Gillentine of Evadale and Jason Gillentine and wife Jennifer of Tyler; sisters Barbara Robertson of Wills Point, Martha Morgan of Rockwall, Anita James of Canton, Lillian Gillentine of Edgewood and Nell Lilly of Canton; and grandchildren Brent and Natalie.
Mr. Gillentine was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
