Kenneth Ray Lucas, 84, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Greg Tomblin. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock. He was born July 13, 1932, in Salt Rock, WV, a son of the late Gallion and Roasa Kirk Lucas. He was a very proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during Korea and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was retired from CSX Transportation and a member of the VFW. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marlys Lucas. He is survived by three daughters, Paty Smith (Tim), Karen Terry, and Juanita Sammons; one son, Tom Lucas; seven grandchildren, Kayla Summers (Joshua), Christopher Terry, Eric Terry, Hayden Smith, Alyson Smith, Cameron Sammons, and Victoria Sammons; and two great-grandchildren.
