1930 - 2017
Stella Mae Chapman, 86, of Milton, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 27, 2017. She was born September 13, 1930 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Delbert and Goldie Bledsoe Day. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarel Chapman and one brother, Leroy Day. She is survived by three daughters, Connie Beaver (Dickie), Dottie Holley (Larry) and Tracey McGraw, all of Milton; one sister, Dorothy Donahoe (Ozzie); two brothers, Paul Day (Martha) and Kenny Day (Jeannie), all of Barboursville; four grandchildren, Kelly, Joey, Trista, and Kelsey; and five great-grandchildren, Jase, Austin, Alli, Alyssa and Easton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, with Rev. Tom Hantak officiating. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Truly the best neighbor any one could have. Always so gracious and welcoming, and I'll certainly miss her! She raised 3 fine daughters, too.
