Karl Robert Eldred, 54, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Monday, March 20, 2017. He was born November 10, 1962 in Dearborn, Michigan to Elaine Eldred and Karl Eldred, who preceded him in death. He had numerous family members throughout the country. He was preceded in death by his father, Breece Higgins, and brothers: Breece Higgins Jr., Gordon Eldred, and Clay Eldred. Karl is survived by his sisters: Leah Eldred, Sina McNally, and Annette Wood. He is also survived by his four sons: Brandon, Bryan, Bradley, and Brent Eldred. He stayed in touch with many of his sons’ friends through the years. Gary Ellis was a close companion and remains a dear member of his family. Karl was a master in all aspects of construction. He coached Little League baseball, volunteered for Head Start, and served as a Boy Scout leader. He loved fishing, playing games, and visiting friends around his fire pit. His smile and sense of humor will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 6939 County Road 15 (Buffalo Creek Road), Chesapeake, Ohio. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
