Pat Ernest LevinessA memorial service for Pat Ernest Leviness, 72, of Silsbee will be 11:00 am Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Jones Building, 260 Hwy 96 South in Silsbee.

Mr. Leviness died March 28, 2017 at his residence.

Pat was born January 18, 1945 in Zavalla to Paxton Chaney and Mellie Melbo Dykes Leviness. He was a longtime resident of Silsbee and worked in the oilfield before retiring.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Rosemary Leviness and brothers Joe Leviness and Dean Leviness.

Mr. Leviness is survived by his daughters Gwendolyn Haynes and husband Thomas of Silsbee and Sylvia Escobedo of Bastrop; brothers Jimmy Leviness and wife Janette and Roger Leviness and wife Brenda, all of Silsbee; sisters Mary Tarver and husband J T of Buna, Marsha Laird of Anahuac and Alice Kimble of Silsbee; grandchildren, Natasha Guillen and husband William, Edwin, Justin and Cody Smith, Salvador, Juan and Angela Garcia, Mallisha great grandchildren Kaylee, Kyleigh and several others; one great, great grandchild and many nieces, nephew and other relatives.

Mr. Leviness will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

LUV; PRAYERS AND BLESSINGS TO ALL OF THE LEVINESS FAMILIES. I WENT TO SCHOOL WITH ALL OF THEM AND KNEW ALL OF THEM. WE ALL LIVED IN SILSBEE AND WENT TO SCHOOL IN SILSBEE. I WAS EDDIE HICKS (CLASS OF 57 FROM SILSBEE HIGH SCHOOL). MY HUSBAND DARRELL DOGGETT GRADUATED IN 1952-SILSBEE HIGH AND PASSED AWAY NOV. 12, 2015, WAS A BROTHER TO WILLIE JO; RUBEN; JANICE AND SPENCER DOGGETT AND LIVED NORTH OF SILSBEE ON HWY. 92. I WAS BORN AND RAISED NORTH OF SILSBEE ON THE OLD SPURGER RD. A LONG TIME AGO AND LIVED THERE JUST PAST WHAT WE CALLED THE "OLD MAIDS' CURVE) ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE ROAD IF YOU WERE GOING NORTH.... WE LIVED ACROSS FROM SIRMONS' GROCERY (MYRTLE AND EDGAR SIRMONS WERE THE OWNERS).LUV FROM EDDIE HICKS DOGGETT AND SWEET DARRELL WHO IS HEAVEN WITH GOD; HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS.......
