Lucille Eloise Dornon Montgomery, 94, of Gainesville, FL formerly of Gallipolis, Ohio passed from the earthly world on Friday, March 24, 2017 while living in Gainesville, FL. Lucille was a member of the Guyan Valley Baptist Church. She loved to sing and play piano. She also loved to laugh and make others laugh. She will be deeply missed by many. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Montgomery; parents Flem and Mary Hardesty Dornon; grandson Shane Fickle; five sisters; and six brothers. Lucille is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Ottinger and Sheila (John) Gosch; two granddaughters, Angela Banks and Natalie (Clint) Daugherty; five great grandchildren, Anastasia (Rudy) Funk, Aaron Banks, Arley Daugherty, Sydney (Josh) Winter, and Grace Daugherty; three great-great grandchildren Emily, Zachary, and Haley Funk all from Florida; grandson Charles (Ruth) Dennison of Ireland; a special brother-in-law, Marshall Montgomery of Crown City, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Jeff Black. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
