Dallas G. Brammer, 85, of Chesapeake, Ohio entered Heaven’s glory on Saturday April 1, 2017 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV. He was born April 28, 1931 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Bernard and Retta Nance Brammer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Verda Mae Wright Brammer; mothers-in-law and father-in-law John and Maxine Wright and Louise Roush McDermitt; sister-in-law Alice Hamlin; and a very special friend Royce McDonie. He was a member of Mt. Hope Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Super Value in 1990 after 41 years. He also was an avid hunter. Dallas is survived by his wife Dotty Roush Brammer; two daughters Lois (Dale) DeLawder of Chesapeake, Ohio and Brenda Gue of Proctorville; five grandchildren Donie Allen (and daughter), Bobby (Tina) DeLawder (and family), Melissa (Dan) Landrum (and son), Larry (Shouna) DeLawder (and sons), Heidi (Jason) Taylor (and children); one brother Wayne (Roberta) Brammer of Barboursville, WV; one sister Mary (Dale) Burcham of Chesapeake; brother-in-law Lee Wright and very special friends Henry Osborne and Pat McDonie. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday April 4, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Mark Roach. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday April 3, 2017 at the funeral home.
