Willie Herman McKeeFuneral services for Willie Herman McKee, 80, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Pinecrest Baptist Church under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. McKee passed away April 1st at his residence in Silsbee.

Herman was born January 18, 1937 in Colmesneil to Jackson and Mary McKee and was a longtime resident of Silsbee. He retired as a supervisor from the paper mill and he served his country with the US Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Frances Richardson and grandson Michael Storms.

Survivors include wife Nelda Gay McKee of Silsbee; daughters Kathy Storms and husband Roy of Elmore City, Oklahoma and Sandy Helms and husband Tony of Silsbee; grandchildren Brad Samford, Greg Samford and wife Stormie, Crystal Long and husband Herbie, Randy Judalet, Ricky Judalet and wife Britney and Rhen Storms; great grandchildren Alexis, Destiny, Carston, Jayden, Alyssa, Caitlyn, Palyn, Garrett, Romi and Brayden; a host of nieces and nephews and honorary family members Carolyn Thibodeau and Fred Samford.

The family would like to acknowledge their church family at Pinecrest Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School for 27 years.

The family also wants to extend their extreme gratitude and appreciation to Daddy’s Adult Sunday School class and Bible Study Class at Pinecrest Baptist Church.

I am so sad to hear about Herman. We first met at the mill many years ago and he was always one of my favorites.

Nelda Gay , Sandy & Kathy, I am so sorry for the loss of Herman. He was a good man & will be missed by all who knew him. My memories are of y'all at Good Shepherd Baptist. Lean on God for your strength.

So sorry for yalls lost Mr.Herman was a very sweet man! Him and my tpaw were more like brothers!
