Fern H. Spotloe, 88, of Proctorville, Ohio went home to be with our Lord and risen Savior on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was the youngest daughter of the late Cecil and Wilda Freeman Hagley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Mildred Zimmerman, Frances Rucker, Margueritte Ball and Edna Mae Harrison; father-in-law and mother-in-law Perry N. and Clarice Spotloe; and brother-in-law, Donald W. Spotloe. Fern is survived by the “love of her life” , her husband Edward N. Spotloe; sisters-in-law Jean Campbell and Patty Spotloe. She also leaves to mourn several nieces and nephews. She was a Huntington East High School graduate and a member of First Baptist Church of Proctorville. She was also a retired employee of Chase Bank. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio with her Pastor Jeff Black officiating. Visitation will be held 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. The family wishes to thank her special caregiver, Donna Lockhart and the compassionate nurses from St. Mary’s Home Health and Hospice of Huntington.
