Michael Allen EllisMichael Allen Ellis, 57, of Vanceburg, KY went home to be with The Lord on Monday, April 17, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Ellis; two brothers James Robert (Lisa) Ellis, Jr of Maysville, KY and Jerry Forrest (Theresa) Ellis of North Carolina; and nephews Jeremy, Robbie and Brian. He was preceded in death by his father James Robert Ellis; his mother Julia Pearl Ellis; and one special nephew David R. Craycraft. Michael was born in Xenia, Ohio on February 6, 1960 and was raised in Kentucky. During his high school years at Maysville High School, he played football for the Maysville Bulldogs, following high school he served in the Army Reserves for six years. Michael made his living as a truck driver for different gasoline companies. He was happiest when fishing, boating and flying his remote control helicopters, and loved all things John Deere. He had a special place in his heart for Patricia and William Hicks whom he loved dearly for the kindness they showed to him. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall or ehallfuneralhome.com .

My prayers and deepest condolences to the family. Mike was a one of a kind and so much enjoyed whrn he worked for me at Mama Joe's pizza in Maysville back when. You'll never be forgotten my friend.
