Mrs. Earls was my third grade teacher in 1985-86. A great math teacher who finally made long division easy for me.

Rod, Anne, Dixie and Family: Words can't express the loss in my heart for this wonderful lady. She was my special friend that I could go to for anything. We had the best times just doing nothing, or having the most fun doing crazy things with she and that wild husband Jim. Most of all she taught me to be myself and I love her for the time I was blessed to share with her. She will always be with me. I am so sorry for your loss, but thank you for sharing her with me, I have been so blessed. I love you all.

I loved working with Judy at B'ville Elementary as a new teacher. She was always happy, funny and dedicated. My heart is with her family.

Judy (Miss Asbury to me) was my first grade teacher at Barboursville in 1971-72. This was my first school experience since I didn't attend kindergarten. She got me started in the right direction and was very encouraging. I am one of the many kids she influenced and she had a tremendous impact on me, my confidence and my future success. I still remember her teaching us about calendars and counting down the days until Christmas. Thank you, Judy, for everything. Ron Curry, Parker, Colorado
