Funeral services for Doris Marie Williams, 87, of Kountze will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2017 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee, with interment at 2:00 p.m. in Wilkerson Cemetery in Pine Grove. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Williams died Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Kountze Nursing Home.
A native of Kirbyville, Doris was a longtime resident of Hardin County, and was a retired maintenance worker with Kirby Forest Industries.
She was preceded in death by her husband R C Williams, parents Harry and Lula Jones Hawthorne, sons Casey Shaver, Jr., and Jerry Don Shaver, daughter Barbara Bryan, and her sister Cecil Barrow.
Survivors include her daughters Tammy Jo Reims of Lumberton and Judy Arnold of Warren, sister Mary Jane Travis of Kirbyville, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
Doris will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
