Billy Joe Watts, 78, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. He was born December 13, 1938 in Kenova, WV son of the late Basil and Bessie Lucas Watts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings Arthur Watts, Basil Watts, Jr., Willa Faye Blankenship, Julia Mae Bocook and Tom Watts. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Teamsters Local #24 Akron, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Doris Watts; one step son John Norman (Kathy) of Beverly, Ohio; three grandchildren Ted and Tammy Jewell, and Bobby Norman; three great grandchildren Shelley, Sarah and Cole; one brother David Lee Watts; three sisters Florence Watts, Nancy Watts and Mary Baumgardner; and numerous nieces and nephews. Private family graveside services will be held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements.
