Funeral services for David Lee Harvill, 67, of Malakoff, Tx will be 2:00 pm Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Harvill passed away May 31, 2017 in Athens, Tx
David was born December 8, 1949 in Silsbee to Margaret Owens and J B Harvill Jr. He was raised in Silsbee and lived in Beaumont and Fort Worth before moving to Malakoff over 8 years ago. Mr. Harvill worked as a forklift operator in a warehouse before retiring. He was an avid Texas Rangers fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his sisters Lynda Hall and husband Lyndol of Malakoff and Holly Williams of Austin; nephews Jeff Williams and wife Amy of Round Rock, Ronnie Soffes of Fort Worth, Steven Soffes and wife Lorrie of Lumberton and Michael Hall and Sylvia of Athens; niece Stacy Copeland and husband Matt of Fort Worth; and several great nieces and great nephews.
Mr. Harvill will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
