I can't tell you how shocked I was to learn of Kathy's passing. I ran into her at Food Fair in Proctorville several months ago with her daughter Leah, (I think it was her.) and she seemed fine. I had again invited her over to see the horses again. It was always a joy to talk to her as she always had a story to tell with Kathy's own spin on it. I've known her since she had Midnight over at Nicky Napier's place. If one of you would call or email me with Nicky's address or phone number I will call her and let her know about Kathy's passing. She sure will be missed. God bless Laura, Leah, Sandy and Jerry her loving husband.

My deepest sympathy goes out for all of the family. I did not know Kathy personally, but I do know how much she was loved. She must have been a very, very special person. The joy and love she brought into Leah's life speaks volumes. Leah, My heart is heavy. I know how very much you adored your mother. I know she was your best friend. I know how special she was to you and I know you will miss her every day. I am very thankful that both of you had the time together that you had and may you treasure it always. I hope it will always bring you strength. I can not image the loss that you are feeling now. I wish for you love and peace. I wish that for all of you. All my best and all my prayers. May God bless you all.~ January Wolfe
