Bob was a wonderful man. I have known Bob for over 30 years. We worked together at First Huntington National and First Sentry Bank. He always had a smile and a good word for everyone. Bob will always be with us through all of the beautiful pictures he has taken over the years. I will see you again in Heaven! My prayers are for Cindy and the family. I hope God will comfort you during this difficult time.

I have known Bob more than 60 years, ever since Lincoln Junior High School when he was Bobby and I was Danny. Over the years we would catch up with each other, often at SJHS ’57 reunions. Lately, the catch-up moments have grown more precious. In a recent conversation with Bob, he promised to attend the SJHS ’57 reunion in September. Both my wife Sandy and I were excited to see him and Sandy finally to meet him. Sandy and I will soon be married for three years. When Bob heard the news, and had seen the photos of our wedding, he was so welcoming and complimentary (“She’s so beautiful!”) to her. That meant the world to Sandy. She knew she followed my wife, who was also our classmate and well-loved, who had passed away. So, Bob was to be a special friend. While all of us knew Bob, the big, basketball guy, it has been wonderful to come to know the sweet guy he really is. My memories of him and our memories of conversations will be treasures. God bless his soul and you, his family. Dan & Sandy Johnson
