Bob hired me at the Railroad Retirement Bd in 1975 and I finished my career with the RRB in 2013 as Manager of the Birmingham, AL office. Bob took time to call me upon my retirement, which is an indication of his commitment and pride he took in his employees. He was a great leader and mentor. So sorry to hear about his passing and also that of his lovely wife, Edna.
