Daniel Jay Sowards Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1968 - 2017 Daniel "Jaybyrd" Sowards, 48, of Huntington, WV passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at home. He was born June 22, 1968 in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Linda Lou Smith Sowards; and aunt Nova Byrd. He is survived by three daughters Alyssa Sowards, Breana Sowards and Mickayla Kelly; one grandson Kaicen West; and one brother Shawn Lake. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall or ehallfuneralhome.com.

I never dreamed I'd be signing a guest book for JayByrd. Jay had a huge heart & never knew a stranger. There's nothing he wouldn't have done for anyone. My deepest sympathy & prayers for his girls. I love you all & am so terribly sorry for your loss.
