Leslie Edward Wilson, 90, of Willow Wood, Ohio passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital, Ashland, KY. He was born September 21, 1926 in Willow Wood, Ohio son of the late Elmer and Maude Baldwin Wilson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Alfreda Wilson; two sons Dean Wilson and Loren Wilson; infant grandson Shawn Wilson; and eight siblings. He retired from Dayton Malleable and was also an employee of Lawrence County CAO for 12 years retiring in 2016. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a member of V.F.W. Post 2761 Willow Wood, Ohio. He was of Baptist faith. He is survived by two daughters Virginia (Steve) Heggen of Nevada and Gail (David) Carpenter of Kitts Hill, Ohio; one son Everett (Polly) Wilson of Patriot, Ohio; daughter-in-law Mary Jo Wilson of Willow Wood, Ohio; 12 grandchildren Jo-el Whitehead, Noreen Tawney, Leslie Wilson, Layne, Adam and Lauren Heggen, Deanna Wilson, Melissa Gipson, Michael Wilson, Matthew Wilson, Chris Wilson and Dylan Carpenter; 12 great grandchildren; special friend Edna Moore; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Paul Michael Booth. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, Willow Wood, Ohio. V.F.W. Post 2761 Willow Wood, Ohio will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall or ehallfuneralhome.com.

I enjoyed spending time with Les at mom's house during holidays,and going to Reds games.Les was a big Reds fan.He will be dearly missed.

I spent time with les most Thursday nights at the flatwoods senior dance in flatwoods' ky. for the last eight years. he was a blessing to know and so courageous in all the battles he fought. he was a winner. he will be sadly missed but is with the lord now. will be praying for comfort for all he left behind.
