 Mary Ellen Allen, 95, of South Point, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Ky. She was born February 5, 1922 in Charleston, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Allen and one sister Della Holt. She is survived by one son David Allen of South Point, Ohio; one daughter Wanda Lytch of South Carolina; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two nephews Frank and Michael Holt; and one niece Michelle Holt Baker. Private family services will be held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements. I am so sorry for the families loss, a truly great kind and funny woman has been lost i have know ms allen since i moved to burlington when i was young she was a great friend to my mom, and well loved by my family she used to bake these awesome rolls for my little brother and make some great chili to send my middle nephew tj....she will be truly missed....
