1982 - 2017
Darrell Scott Nelson, 35, of Milton, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017. He was born March 4, 1982 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of Michael and Brenda Harshbarger Shull. Scott had a great heart and helped anyone he could. He was a jack of all trades. He loved his babies and was a great daddy to Caden, Clowie, Brayden, Arianna Nelson. He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Elmer "Tuffy" Harshbarger and preceded by his maternal grandmother, Mary Harshbarger; paternal grandfather and grandmother, Darrell and Judy Nelson; two sisters, Amy Nelson Salmons and Kayla Perry Morrison; stepbrother, Michael Joseph Shull; stepsister, Crystal Strunk; special buddies, Chris Workman, Tony Harshbarger and Matt Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Tony Mays officiating. Burial will follow in the Gwinn Cemetery, Milton. Mike and Brenda, Scott was beyond one of the greatest Guys I've been blessed to have in my life. He had a heart of gold who would do anything for anyone. He loved his family with his whole heart and showed all of us. I will forever miss my fishing Buddy. Hugs and prayers
