Robert M. Spitzer, 69, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Thursday June 22, 2017 at home. He was born October 10, 1947 in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his mother Edith Cole Spitzer. He is survived by his wife Terrell Spitzer; three children Rob (Teddie), Jody, and Amber; four grandchildren Stormie, Madisyn, Mitchell, and Camiren, whom he loved dearly; mother-in-law Margaret “Babe” Jones; sister Carroll Carrico; brother David (Brenda) Spitzer; and several nieces and nephews. He worked at Allied Chemical, served in the US Army, and retired from CSX Railroad. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday June 26, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Minister Richard Harp. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio.
