Juanita Zeagler Colleps Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1932 - 2017 Funeral services for Juanita Zeagler Colleps, 85, of Beaumont will be 10:00 am Wednesday, July 12th at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Knupple Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Colleps passed away July 7, 2017 at Altus Hospice in Beaumont. Juanita was born in Jasper, Texas May 1, 1932 to William and Margaret Zeagler. She was a registered nurse. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters Georgia Pilgrim and Ruth Walker. Survivors include her husband Dale Colleps, Sr. of Beaumont; sons Dale Floyde Colleps, Jr. and wife Leda and Glenn Manning Colleps all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; sister Opel Hogan of Jasper; three grandchildren James DeWald and wife Sarah, Amanda Francois and husband Troy and Margaret Huckabee and husband Chris and six great grandchildren John Francois, George Francois, Georgia Huckabee, Sierra DeWald, Raquel DeWald and Asher DeWald.

Never does one feel oneself so utterly helpless as in trying to speak comfort for great bereavement. I will not try it. Time is the only comforter for the loss of a mother.

I am so sorry to hear this news, I spent many days with Juanita in our younger years. I wish I could be there. My prayers are for you to be comforted and strengthened during this time. I speak for the Parks family,Bernard and Ray.
