MARY NELL LAMBERT WARD, 74, of Proctorville, Ohio, formerly of Huntington, passed from this life into life everlasting on Friday, June 30, 2017, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Her pain and cares are behind, and she lives forever in her new body in Heaven with family and friends who've gone on before. At her request, there will be no services scheduled. She was born November 25, 1942, in Huntington, daughter of the late Stacy T. and Margaret Kondor Lambert. She was also predeceased by the father of her children, James Howard Ward. She retired from the Deli at Foodfair in Proctorville, Ohio, and was a member of South Side United Methodist Church, where she served several years as secretary. Mary Nell is survived by three children, Lisa Rutherford of Ona, W.Va., Jennifer Ward of Stafford, Va., and Chad Ward of Barboursville; grandchildren Rik (Heather) Abbess, Joseph Abbess, Ryan Ward and Maddie Ward; great-grandchildren Nathan, Logan and Dayna-Jane Abbess; brothers Tom (Drenda) Lambert and Charles Lambert; lifelong friend, Mary Jo Matthews; and several nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.
