William Jackson Jefferson Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1929 - 2017 William J. Jefferson passed away July 8th comfortably in his home. Memorial Services will be held at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee, Texas on July 13th at 10:00 AM. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Emily, children Arthur Jefferson and Alisa Bocskovits, and grandchildren Arthur Jefferson II and Patrick Friese. William was born in Hot Springs in 1929, graduated with honors from West Point in 1952, and married Emily in 1955. He enjoyed a career as a distinguished businessman and member of his community, but William took the most pride in his successes as a family man and provider to all who depended on him. He was beloved by many and will be dearly missed.

Jeff, still optimistic the last time I saw him recently. Yes, he is leaving a Void, which his love and kindness will fill for you, his wonderful family. It has been pleasure to know him and be a part of your life. -Ronald Chalfant
