Don Franklin White, 79, of Huntington, WV passed away Friday, July 14, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born December 16, 1937 in Lawrence County, Ohio son of the late Huey and Mary Henderson White. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers Freddie, Harry, Ray and Billy White; and two sisters Frances McComas and Kathleen Shafer. He was a retired truck driver from Teamsters Local #505 with 33 years of services. He was a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Singer White; two sons Don (Cindy) White of Ceredo, WV and Garrett (Sarah) White of Ceredo, WV; five grandchildren Michelle, Ryan, Aaron, Amber and Stephanie; six great grandchildren; one brother Luther White of Crown City, Ohio; three sisters Edna Bowman of Miller, Ohio, Barbara Jean Cook of Miller, Ohio and Jenny Bowman of Miller, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Eddie Salmons. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
