Noraetta Adkins, 86, of South Point, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Ky. She was born June 19, 1931 in Wayne County, WV daughter of the late Miletta and Leroy Brumfield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers Orville Brumfield, Timothy Brumfield, Maryland Brumfield and Rodger Brumfield; and a sister Cora Lee Smith. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Hearl Adkins; two brothers Estal and Emit Brumfield; a sister Sylvia Gould; one daughter; five sons; two step daughters; 20 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was a homemaker, an Associate Pastor, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, who loved her church, singing, preaching and praying. She will be dearly missed by all who have known her. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Allen Martin. Private burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton, WV. Visitation will be held 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the funeral home.
