Minnie Louella Booth Wentz, 85, of Proctorville, Ohio wife of Charles “Chuck” C. Wentz went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at home. She was born March 12, 1932 in Logan, WV daughter of the late Charles A. and Blanche Lambert Booth. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sara Booth Pullen; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law Wilson and Louise Wentz Adkins. She is survived by two sisters, Geneva (Stu) Gregory and Brenda (Ron) Fry; one brother Charles David (Daphne) Booth; two daughters, Vicky (Perry) Newman and Cathy (Jim) Easley; one son Charles “Chuck” (Terri) Wentz; six grandchildren Kirk (Heather) and Brett Newman, Kristen (Sean) Knight, Cortney (Christopher) Zusin, Brittany Easley and Chuck Wentz; six great grandchildren Behlin, Bryce, Max and Luke Newman, Louella “Ellie” Knight, and Caden Zusin; a host of special nieces and nephews whom she loved. As a young woman she worked at Huntington Alloys as a comptometer operator. She then became a homemaker, sold Avon for several years and was a Girl Scout Leader. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church for over 40 years where she served on the Altar Guild, was a Sunday School Teacher and was involved in many other church activities. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. She was a special lady to her family, friends and everyone who knew her. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. Entombment will follow. Visitation will be held 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
