Funeral services for Stephen Wayne Russ, 46, of Silsbee will be 4:00 pm Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Freedom Fellowship Church with interment following in R S Farmer Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until time of service.
Mr. Russ passed away August 1, 2017 at his residence.
Stephen was born in Kountze July 18, 1971 to Raymond Edward Russ Sr and Margaret Cramer Russ. He worked as a warehouse operator for Exxon Mobil. Stephen enjoyed riding motorcycles and playing guitar. He loved playing church music for the residents at the nursing homes on Sundays. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Stephen is preceded in death by his parents and niece Rebecca Louise.
Survivors include his wife of 8 years, Amanda Gollihare Russ of Silsbee; children Kara Russ, Kayla Russ, Gary Melton III, Hailey Melton and Taylor Russ, all of Silsbee; brother Raymond Russ Jr. of Silsbee; sister Annell McMullen and husband Larry of Silsbee; sister-in-law Melissa Russ of Silsbee; seven nephews and one great nephew.
Stephen will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.
