Carroll Glenn RameyCARROLL GLENN RAMEY 83, of Huntington, passed away on August 10, 2017, at Cabell-Huntington Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2017 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Minister Delmar Adkins. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery, Branchland. He was born December 8, 1933, in Logan, a son of the late Arthur Ramey and Clella Morrison Ramey. He was preceded in death by his son, Marty Allen Ramey; his brother, Ezra "Jackie" Ramey; and his sister Frances Ramey Morrison. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of sixty-two years, Mabel Jane Ramey; son and daughter-in-law Ancil and Hannah Ramey of Huntington; son and daughter-in-law Dwayne and Donna Ramey of Barboursville, daughter-in-law Connie Ramey; six grandchildren, Daniel Ramey, Shanna Ramey Burcham, Maria Jane Ramey, Lane Allen Ramey, Cameron Lee Ramey and Nathan Curry Ramey; and four great-grandchildren, lsabella Burcham, Alyssa Burcham, Owen Burcham, and Ezekiel Ramey. He was a United States Navy veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict, and a retired millwright from Steel of West Virginia. He was kind, enjoyed hard work, the bark of a good hound dog, the ride of a good horse, working his farm, and most of all, being with his family. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

We knew Carroll as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be terribly missed by all. Our deepest sympathy to Jane, Dwayne, Ancil and all of the Rameys.
