James C Crum Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1939 - 2017 James C. Crum, 78, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Monday August 14, 2017 at Cornerstone Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born July 17, 1939 in Glenwood, WV to the late Edward Crum and Mary Jane Crum Adams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Edward Crum. He was in the Army Reserve and retired from Steel of West Virginia. He was a member of Ceredo Church of Christ and Proctorville Volunteer Fire Department for 35 years. He is survived by his wife Rosaline Smith Crum; one son David Crum; two daughters Sherry Kowalski and Rhonda Hines; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday August 17, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Minister David Roach. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday August 16, 2017 at the funeral home. I never got the chance to meet you my dear grandfather however I have reached out over the years and spoke with you and Grandma Rose many times and spoke with you about your great grandchildren. I was planning to come try to visit you. Please keep my daddy company while you are there and you finally get to meet one of your great grand daughters Alexis Rose Schuetz. When you see her please give her a hug and kiss and tell her mommy misses her. Gone but never forgotten. May you rest in peice.

I am so sorry i never got to really know my dad and have him in my life time goes by way to fast and then its to late roseline my prayers are with you i just found all this out otherwise i could have made arrangements to be there it hurts to know i lost the chance of ever seeing him again rip dad
