Geneva “Peanut” Adkins Paulus, 84, of Huntington, WV a very loving mother, ninaw, sister and friend went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at her home. She was born January 26, 1933 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Ivel and Betha Adkins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Paulus; two sisters Faye Ash and Donna Yost; and three brothers Edwin “Duke” Adkins, Winford”Wink” Adkins and Leslie “Tudy” Adkins. She formerly worked at Doyles Pharmacy and Kerr Glass until she became an antique dealer and personal caregiver. She was a devoted Christian and loved to hear the gospel. She was very inspirational, caring, and loving to all. Her best attribute was the love she had and shared for her family. She is survived by her three children Denny (Brenda) Vance, Patty (Bill) Butler and Dutchess McComas; eight grandchildren Holli McComas, Shawn Vance, Shelly Vance, Ervin Clark, Jaimie Stone, Marty Tommbs, Mike Butler and Mark Butler; 15 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; sisters and brothers Catherine Davis of Huntington, WV, Arnola Campbell of Huntington, WV, Garland Adkins of Huntington, WV, Amon Adkins of Proctorville, Ohio, Carol Adkins of Sistersville, WV and Jerry Adkins of Lesage, WV. A celebration of life service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Bishop E.S. Harper and Larry Connor officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Dutch and Holli McComas, Levi McComas, Shawn Vance, Chris Brobst, Ervin Clark, Danny Holt, Zack Clark, Kyle Slucher, Marcus Hawkins, and Bryce Butler. My sincere condolences to you Holli and all of your family. I did not get the honor of meeting your Ninaw, but based upon the beautiful tribute to her, she was truly an awesome Christian lady. You will see her again!
