Betty Ruth Barker, 65, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017 at home. She was born June 4, 1952 in Logan, WV daughter of the late Clarkson and Gertrude Herndon Browning. She retired from Citizens Deposit Bank. She is survived by her husband Jerry Barker; one son Chris (Rachael) Barker of Gallipolis, Ohio; three brothers Pete (Teresa) Browning, Bruce Browning, John (Christina) Browning all of Logan, WV; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. A private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall or ehallfuneralhome.com.

Dear Pete, Bruce, John, and all of the family. I was shocked to hear about Betty. I know we hardly ever get to see each other, but I do think about all of our families. You are in my prayers. Jerry and Chris, I was so sorry to hear about Betty's passing. She and I worked together at US Bank (Firstar Bank) for many years and I have many many wonderful memories of her. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.

whitney justice and I are just so sad! I would see her at the bank and she always wanted to know if we were ok and always told me to say hello to WJ! she will always be in are heart and a smile I will never forget! love to all the family, we are with you!!
