Jewel Eden Wilson, 95, of Chester, Virginia, formerly of Ona, WV, passed away Monday, October 2, 2017. She was born March 18, 1922 in Goodwyns Ferry, Virginia, a daughter of the late Osee and Dema McCoy Vaught. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson, three sons, Ted Blankenship, Harold Blankenship and Vernon Blankenship; stepdaughter, Donna Boggess; and the father of her sons, Ralph Blankenship. She is survived by three sons, Alvin Blankenship of Union, WV, Clarke Blankenship of Chester, VA, and Doug Blankenship of Sweet Springs, WV; stepchildren, Melvin Wilson, Willard Wilson, Phyllis Wilson, Cathy Smith, and Rick Wilson; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, WV, with Rev. Ron Burnsworth officiating.
