Chuck Rood Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1927 - 2017 Chuck Rood, 49, of South Point, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 at home. He was born July 9, 1968 in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his mother Aretta Rood; maternal grandparents George W. and Nettie Anderson; and paternal grandparents Harry and Jeanette Rood. He is survived by his father Charles Leroy Rood, Sr of South Point, Ohio; one daughter Paige Rood; four sons Kyle, Chase, Brendon and Davon Rood; three sisters Brenda Schroder, Sandra Clay and Charlotte Lowe; two brothers Matt and Jeff Rood; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. #32 Strong. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Clyde Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. So very sorry for your loss, Chuck was a great friend, father, son, brother, cousin I have known him since we were kids makes me sad that he is gone so soon. Prayers for all of his family and friends especially those babies.

So sad to learn of Chuck's passing. My husband and I were neighbors of Chuck's when he lived on Arthur Ave. He was such a loving, kind friend. He and his children were so special to us. He was a "one of a kind" person. God bless his children and family. Paige, if you or your brothers ever need me, you know where I live. I pray God will be with you in the terrible days ahead. So sorry for your loss Chuck fought a long battle I always followed him on Facebook and enjoyed all his post Im very sorry for your children and family will keep you all in my prayers.
