1960 - 2017
Ronald Wade Cazad, of Milton, WV passed from this earth to his Heavenly home on Sunday, October 8, 2017 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Huntington, WV on April 25, 1960 ("a '60 model") to Linda Arlene Sowards and Ronald Wayne Cazad. He attended Barboursville High School in Barboursville, WV. He was passionate about cars and was a Master Technician, receiving Gold certification while employed at Tri-State Chrysler for 25 years before working as a self-employed mechanic at his own garage. He is survived by his mother, Linda Goodson of Huntington, WV; wife, Amy Cazad; a daughter and son-in-law Karen & Michael Shaun Blake of Wilmington, NC; a son and daughter-in-law Thomas & Mindy Cazad of Huntington, WV; a son Matthew Hicks of Salt Rock, WV; brother Brian Goodson of Huntington, WV; as well as three very special grandbabies whom Ron loved very much: Sadie, Maximus, and Aria. Ron also had many cousins, friends, and customers who became friends. Ron is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Wayne Cazad; step-mother Betty Chapman Workman Cazad; and brother Greg Cazad. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. noon Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville by Rev. David Cardwell. Burial will be in Bowen Cemetery. I miss you Dad. I will never forget how you made me feel when I was around you. You were a wonderfully thoughtful, caring father, and reminded me often of how much you love me. Thank you for making me feel so special and always being there for me. You showed me how important family was. I love you and miss you so much.
