Aaron Black, 81, of Ashland, KY passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 at home. He was born February 25, 1936 in Huntington, WV son of the late Ty and Sylvia Chinn Black. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Jessica Lynn “Sandy” Charay; and a sister Alannia Cooper. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nancy M. Black; three sons Aaron Black, Jr and wife Kim of Delaware, Charles Black and his wife Sandra of Arkansas and Glenndale Black and his girlfriend Tabitha Murphy of Ashland, Ky; three daughters Patricia Hilton of Florida, Joy Black of Ashland, Ky and Glennadale Black “Diane” of Ashland, Ky; grandsons Robert Aaron Charay of Topeka, Kansas, Landon Black of Ashland, Ky, Kayden Black of Ashland, Ky, Vernon Aaron Black of Ashland, Ky and Alex Black of Atkins, Arkansas; granddaughters Erika Charay of Topeka, Kansas, Jessica Erie Mae Black of Arkansas, and Alainnha Maelynn Black of Ashland, KY; three brothers Hobert, Al and Jack Black; and three sisters Mary Hodge, Betty Smith and Jean Maynard; numerous nieces and nephews; and very special friend Tom Wolf. He retired from the Armed Forces U. S. Army after serving 1955 to 1976. He also served in the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1968. He worked maintenance for nuclear power shut downs with Brown and Root, and Fish power group. He also had the Cannonsburg flea market in Cannonsburg, Ky. He loved to go camping and fishing. He loved to go down to the Hillbilly Flea Market and sale his treasures and tell his many stories. He had a lot of friends at the Hillbilly Flea Market and they all thought he was the worlds best story teller. Until we meet again. A visitation will be held 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, October 30, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
