David Scott PlybonDavid “Scott” Plybon, 51, of Chesapeake, Ohio, beloved son of Donna Plybon of Chesapeake and the late David Plybon, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Ky. David Scott graduated from Chesapeake High School in 1984, went to college and received a degree in Information Technology. In his growing years, he always loved to learn. David Scott was an outgoing, friendly person who loved helping people. He had a unique gift of being able to communicate with people. He had many friends and family members that loved him and still love him to this day. He had many hobbies. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, riding his bike, using his metal detector, and he was a huge fan of Star Wars and Star Trek. He spent a lot of time with his wife and two daughters Megan and Kenzie. He loved going to see Megan in the marching band and watching her perform. With much joy, he loved laughing and giggling with Kenzie. He loved his brother Dirk and his wife Kelli and their son Derek. He loved doing things with him like working in the garage. He always said his wife Hope Shanea Plybon, gave him the joy of his life. They were happily married for 18 years. The family would like to thank the staff of the third floor at KDMC and all of his friends and co-workers for all their love, care, and compassion. I worked with Scott for about 6yrs at ACS. He was always willing to help and teach you how to do things. He was a great man. Sorry for your loss.

I'm very sad to read this. I worked with Scott at ACS and kept in touch with him for a while after until a few years ago. He was a man of a million stories and a personality like none other - he absolutely adored his kids! This world will miss Scott. Rest in peace, friend!

I worked with Scott for approximately 10 years at two different companies. He was a very hard worker with a great work ethic. Scott always made everyone laugh. It was impossible to be around Scott and not laugh and be in a good mood. The world will have a lot less laughter without Scott. It was a pleasure working with him!

I was saddened this morning to see that David had passed. I got to know David in high school while we marched in the band together at Chesapeake. He was a good guy, and always wore a smile. We reconnected briefly when I'd see him at Chesapeake with Megan. Even though I hadn't seen him for over 30 years, he was still the happy, positive person that I knew him to be in high school. The last conversation we had was about his daughter and her accomplishments in band and the classroom. He was a proud dad and husband, and a good man. My thoughts and prayers for the family are with you.
