Juanita May Hunt, 93, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born May 4, 1924 in Peoria, IL daughter of the late Albert and Milda Boyce Lawyer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Hunt; two sisters LaVerne Wells and Edith Brewer; one brother Gerald Lawyer; and one grandson Anthony Dingess. She attended New Hope United Methodist Church. She is survived by one son Ron Hunt of Proctorville, Ohio; two daughters Terrie (Grant) McKittrick of Baltimore, MD and Mildred “Millie” (Ron) Vaught of Indianapolis, IN; three grandchildren Angela (Kevin) Jackson, Ryan Hunt and Tanner Hunt; two great grandchildren Drew and Ethan Jackson; and her four fur babies. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Anthony Thomas. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Proctorville V.F.W. Post 6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to Hospice House of Huntington.
